Who Vitae Memoriam Are
Vitae Memoriam began when the Belgian senior partner Kathleen Marien had a bereavement and as is the custom for about 85% of the population they have a ceramic photo plaque produced to appear on either the headstone or the front of the door in cremations (insert Pictures of crematorium wall and headstone).

Kathleen has a background in business management and digital graphics. She was very disappointed in the quality of the plaque presented from the photo given.

When Kathleen questioned the stonemason he said that he must send the photo to Italy and the best they can do is copy it onto the plaque using a method know as chromalin reproduction.

Kathleen took this as a challenge and set about scanning the same photo she had given to the stonemason and using the state of the art professional imaging software she tidied up the picture removing the scratches and damage it had received in posting, editing the background, removing the red eye effect and adding a nice digital frame. The difference was astounding.
